Fine Arts club

Introduction
A fine arts club has been set up in our campus and periodical cultural programmes has been organized regularly. Due to this, the cultural values are being inculcated in young minds, develops personality and team spirit. This also helps in bringing out the latent potential in individual student and and increase the level of confidence and gradually reduce stage fears. This also helps to earn and sustain an individual through mass media. In course of time, the creative and expressive skills of the students can be tapped and streamlined which ultimately improve histrionic skills.

Activities Proposed for Academic Year 2004 - 05
After the arrival of first year students, selection for various sects of fine arts namely :

- debating teams in tamil and english
- vocalists
- instrument players
- dancers
- drama artists
- drawing and painting artists
- verse and essay writers
- competetors for quiz programmes

will be selected through various competitions and a final team will be selected, who successively participate in various competitions inside and outside our campus. It is proposed that atleast one person who is eminent in any fine art will be invited to give a lecture demonstration for every semester.
